Cordoba C7 Fingerboard
The fretboard of the Cordoba C7 SP classical guitar is made of rosewood, especially Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia). That makes it easy to fret and play. This type of rosewood has a deeper and more complex sound because it is heavier and denser than other fretboard types.
The scale length on the C7 SP is 25.6 inches (650 mm), the nut width is 2 inches (50.8 mm), and the 12th fret width is 2.44 inches (62 mm). It has 19 frets, and the 12th fret is marked by two dots on the side of the neck.
That is made of nickel-silver, a type of metal combination often used to make guitar frets. Their height and position are carefully set to ensure they sound good and are easy to play. They are then put into holes in the fretboard.
No Pickup
The Cordoba C7 SP doesn’t come with a pickup out of the box. But there is a Cutaway Electric (CE) version of the acoustic guitar if you want a C7 SP with a pickup. It has a Fishman Presys II pickup system with a piezo pickup under the saddle and a preamp with a tuner built-in. The sound should be crisp and natural when the guitar is connected to an amplifier or PA system, thanks to the pickup system.
The pickup system also has a built-in tuner and a preamp with tone controls. The preamp lets you change the volume, tone, and balance between the piezo and microphone pickups, and the tuner makes sure you’re always in tune.

Bridge

The wood used in the construction of the Cordoba C7 SP is “solid,” meaning that it is not laminated but rather consists of a single, continuous piece of wood. The sound of a solid wood instrument gets softer and more complex as the wood “opens up” and the instrument is played.
Bracing of Cordoba C7 SP
The Cordoba C7 SP classical guitar is made with a traditional Spanish fan bracing design. Fan bracing is used to reinforce the guitar’s soundboard so that it doesn’t buckle under the tension of the strings. The braces are carved from cedar and are glued to the top of the guitar’s soundboard.
The Cordoba C7 SP also has a two-way truss rod, which gives the neck of the guitar more support and makes it easy to change the strings’ height. These bracing and reinforcement techniques produce a strong, sustained sound for the guitar.
